After selecting your favorite coffee from the subscriptions section, it will be sent to you at the frequency you choose. At any time you are free to cancel your subscription (or modify it in your account ** If feasible**). A reminder email will be sent to you before the official order to validate if changes are desired.
Whether it is for subscription or regular orders, a shipping and handling rate is set at $10 for all orders of $34.99 and less. All orders of $35 and more will be shipped at our expense with great pleasure!
Although there are as many different ways to prepare coffee as there are humans on earth, the recommended recipe is indicated on the coffee bags. Usually one tablespoon per cup of water is calculated. So a regular 340 g bag will give you about 40 cups of coffee while a 454 g bag will give you about 50 cups. *Considering that a tablespoon weighs approximately (between 6 and 9 grams) depending on the density of the material.
All appliances are good for grinding coffee beans, the important thing is not to grind over a long period of time so as not to heat up the grind. It is strongly advised to grind the coffee just before brewing it in order to keep its freshness as long as possible.
If you would like to have a grind on demand, for a piston coffee maker (Bodum) or a percolator for example, please indicate your grind in the “additional instruction” box just before going to the checkout.
It is a fairly fine grind that is somewhere between the grind used for automatic filter machines and the espresso grind.
Considered a basic food product, coffee sold in bulk is not taxable federally or provincially. Basic groceries are defined as most food and beverages intended for human consumption, including sweeteners, seasonings and other ingredients that must be mixed with these foods and beverages or that may be used in their preparation.
Orders are usually shipped the next day. The delivery time may then vary depending on your location. We use a private carrier so your order will arrive quickly. Canada Post is occasionally used in some cases.
